By using ZeroDay — including the website, Discord bot, account system, or any associated services — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ZeroDay.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ZeroDay ("ZeroDay", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), including the Discord bot, website at zeroday-bot.netlify.app, account system, premium features, and all related services provided .
By creating an account, adding the bot to a Discord server, or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ZeroDay.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
ZeroDay is a Discord bot and web platform providing:
- Discord server moderation and management tools
- Real-time cybersecurity intelligence including CVE feeds, threat alerts, and security news
- Cybersecurity knowledge base and certification study resources
- Community features including user reviews and public profiles
- Premium subscription tiers with expanded functionality
- Certification verification program for cybersecurity professionals
- Planned ethical hacking and security research tools (subject to availability)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use ZeroDay, consistent with Discord's Terms of Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.
You must have a valid Discord account in good standing to create a ZeroDay account. Use of ZeroDay is void where prohibited by applicable law.
4. Accounts & Authentication
4.1 Account Creation
ZeroDay accounts are created exclusively via Discord OAuth. By signing in, you authorize ZeroDay to access your Discord username, avatar, and user ID. We do not store your Discord password.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at our support server if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.3 Account ID
Each account is assigned a unique ZeroDay Account ID (format: ZD-XXXXXX) used for certifications, payment history, and platform identification.
4.4 Recovery Email
You may optionally add a recovery email used solely for account recovery and notification preferences you explicitly opt into. It is never shared with third parties for marketing.
4.5 Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your account dashboard. Deletion is subject to our data retention obligations in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree not to use ZeroDay to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Conduct unauthorized penetration testing or scanning of systems you do not own or have explicit written permission to test
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any individual or group
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code
- Attempt unauthorized access to ZeroDay's systems, other accounts, or third-party systems
- Submit false or fraudulent certification claims
- Spam or abuse ZeroDay's commands, API, or submission systems
- Scrape or systematically extract data without written permission
- Impersonate ZeroDay, ZeroDay, or any ZeroDay staff member
- Reverse-engineer or extract ZeroDay's source code
- Use cybersecurity tools for offensive purposes against unauthorized targets
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures
⚠️ Cybersecurity Tools: Any scanning, OSINT, or security research tools provided by ZeroDay are for authorized, ethical, and educational use only. Using these tools against systems you do not own or have explicit written permission to test may constitute a criminal offense under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), UK Computer Misuse Act, or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction. ZeroDay bears no responsibility for misuse.
Violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement.
6. User-Generated Content
6.1 Reviews
By submitting a review, you grant ZeroDay a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute it on the platform and associated Discord channels. Reviews must be truthful and reflect genuine experience. Fabricated or defamatory reviews are prohibited.
6.2 Profile Content
You are solely responsible for your public profile content. Offensive, misleading, or rule-violating content may be removed without notice.
6.3 Moderation
ZeroDay staff may remove content that violates these Terms, Discord's Community Guidelines, or applicable law. Content is moderated for rule violations only — not based on opinion or quality. Moderation decisions are final.
6.4 No Endorsement
User-generated content does not represent the views of ZeroDay or ZeroDay.
7. Premium Plans & Payments
7.1 Billing
Premium subscriptions are billed on the cycle selected at purchase. ZeroDay does not store your payment card details.
7.2 Refunds
Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact us via our support server within 7 days of a charge. We may decline refunds for accounts found to have violated these Terms.
7.3 Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until the period ends.
7.4 Plan Changes
We reserve the right to change pricing or features with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
7.5 No Guaranteed Uptime
Premium subscriptions do not guarantee specific uptime levels. We are not liable for service interruptions.
8. Certification Program
The ZeroDay certification verification program allows users to submit proof of cybersecurity certifications for a verified badge and plan benefits.
- Submissions must be genuine and belong to the submitting user
- Fraudulent or altered certification documents will result in permanent account termination
- We may verify submissions by cross-referencing official certification body records
- Approved certifications may be revoked if fraud is later discovered
- Denial decisions include a reason and may be appealed via our support server
- ZeroDay does not guarantee approval of any submission
9. Intellectual Property
ZeroDay, its logo, design, code, and all original content are the intellectual property of ZeroDay. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content, you grant us the license described in Section 6.
10. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
10.1 "As Is" Service
ZeroDay is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
10.2 Cybersecurity Information
CVE data, threat intelligence, and security advisories are for informational purposes only. They may not be complete or current. Do not rely solely on ZeroDay for security decisions in production environments.
10.3 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroDay and ZeroDay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if no payments were made.
10.4 Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services including Discord and the NVD.
11. Security & Cybersecurity Tools
ZeroDay's security tools are provided exclusively for educational use, authorized testing of systems you own, CTF competitions, and responsible disclosure research. By using these tools you confirm you have all necessary authorizations and accept full legal responsibility for your use.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, harmful conduct, legal requirements, or at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Contact us via our support server if you believe termination was in error.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in our Discord support server. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
